Early humans relied on cooperation to persevere. Now, we depend on corporations to fulfill our desires. I simply don’t buy it. Performance is central to my work as an interdisciplinary artist, due to its ephemeral and immediate nature. It’s difficult to assign value or quantify an experience unfolding in timespace. In a capitalist driven-culture, this is priceless to me. I use live, participatory, and interactive arts to foster authentic connections between collaborators, audiences, and ideas. These connections are the basis for building community.

I’ve spent the past fifteen years developing my artistry and plan to spend the next fifteen deepening my work’s impact in the communities I belong to. I want to make the idea of healing ourselves, each other, and the planet irresistible.
